Educated at Pasadena’s world famous Art Center College of Design (Transportation ‘89), Fireball Tim developed insane, unique concept vehicles and environments. Creating his own Entertainment Minor and paving the way for future film vehicle designers, Fireball Tim went on to develop Corvettes for GENERAL MOTORS ADVANCED CONCEPT CENTER and stealth vehicles for NISSAN INTERNATIONAL, as well as to design theme parks and vehicles for DISNEYLAND’S futuristic “New Tomorrowland” and “The Indiana Jones Ride.” He then went on to head projects for UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, from the “Jurassic Park Ride” to Steven Spielberg’s Dive Restaurant. From there, it was to the movie industry. He was called upon by some of the greatest directors in the industry to envision designs for over 50 films and 300 commercials. Conceptualizing cars, weapons, spaceships and wild environments, some of his film credits include SON OF THE MASK, ESCAPE FROM L.A., PITCH BLACK, JURASSIC PARK, RAT RACE, CATS AND DOGS, THE CORE, X-MEN, STARSHIP TROOPERS, CLOCKSTOPPERS, IMPOSTER, MIMIC, MOUSE HUNT, INDEPENDENCE DAY, TWISTED, MARS ATTACKS, SPEED, THE MONEY TRAIN, ED WOOD, BATMAN RETURNS, TIMECOP, and GONE IN 60 SECONDS. He is also responsible for the All Star Vehicles for the hit TV Show MONSTER GARAGE, being selected as top designer among 86 episodes.
Fireball Tim has set a new standard for unique and wacky cars through FIREBALLED! ENTERPRISES, INC. and film projects through FIREBALLED ENTERTAINMENT. He’s been labeled the “Big Daddy Roth for the Tuner Generation” by mags and “One of the wackiest designers alive” by the press. Cars all over the globe have been FIREBALLED, and there’s no stopping him. He’s currently struck deals with MINI USA/BMW, OASIS WHEELS, CARTV, KUMHO TIRES, NORTHROP GRUMMAN, MEGUIAR’S, MOSS MOTORS, CINEMAVEHICLES SERVICES, MATIX CLOTHING, DVS SHOES, WILWOOD ENGINEERING, VISION ENTERTAINMENT, NEW LINE CINEMA and WARNER BROS STUDIOS.
But Fireball Tim’s real passion is the new MINI COOPER. With his own personal ride, THE MACH 3, Fireball has laid the groundwork for MINI EXPRESSIONISM among the Tuner Circuit, attending over 50 shows a year including HOT IMPORT NIGHTS, RCX, VIP, FORMULA DRIFT and MAJOR AUTO SHOWS worldwide. Fully supported by MINI USA/ BMW NORTH AMERICA. He’s teamed up with “Tuner Legend” Hubie Fuh and Licensing Powerhouse Howard Finelt of IPM to create FIREBALLED! RACING and the “World’s Fastest Mini.” It’s been featured in AUTOWEEK, MOTOR TREND, MAX POWER, MC2, POPULAR MECHANICS, ADDX, DSPORT, PERFORMANCE AUTO AND SOUND and many others. With a brand new facility in Torrance, THE FIREBALLED! STUDIO SHOP, Tim has secured deals with MINI USA/BMW NORTH AMERICA to create a unique Race Program as well as design and develop 100 high horsepower LIMITED EDITION ONE-OFF HOLLYWOOD THEMED MINIS with SOUTH BAY MINI.
