FIREBALLED! AUTOCROSS SLAMS FIRST!

With gas prices at an all-time high, Fireballed! Autocross VP Andi Mast ran her 1989 V8 Corvette (with 108,000 miles on it) 10 hours round trip towing a tire trailer with tools, jack and stands stuffed behind the back seats. Destination, to race in a National SCCA Solo Event at Castle Airport in Atwater, California. She got up at 5:00 am each morning in order to walk the course before driving…average temperature 87 degrees…no shade…her total time on the race course was only 6 minutes over a two day period.

What’s the payoff you ask for all of this madness? She won both days! Whoo hoo! Snagged her first National SCCA trophy in A Stock Ladies Class at Atwater this weekend.
