MTTS is still in full swing as the boys from Fireballed! hit St. Louis today for the Mini Tailgate Party and a wee bit o’ baseball. Marlins spanked the Cardinals, but Mini owners from everywhere enjoyed the festivities. They even hit Metropolis, Illinois. Home of SUPERMAN!!

MTTS Coverage: Fireball Tim gets a flat!
On his journey from New Mexicon to Amarillo, Texas, Tim had a run in with something that actually caused the run flat tire to go flat!
But, who came to his rescue? That’s right a Cooper owner! Becky was kind enough to loan Tim her spare for the GP. Tim said the wheel was a little scratched, but not bad. And, he was able to get everything fixed up by MINI Roadside in Amarillo.

MTTS Coverage: Day 3
Wow! What an awesome event!
As it turns out, I did go on to Las Vegas and I have to say that MINIUSA is doing a great job in putting on this event. Top notch the entire way!
Oh yea, I got to ride in Todd’s GP. No, he didn’t let me drive it, but I was good with a ride. And, I’m with everyone else on those wheels. Pictures don’t even come close to doing them justice. They look awesome, as does the color.

MTTS Update
After a virtually flawless drive down the coast of Big Sur, San Simeon and seeing… uh hem, quite a few Minis, the FTR Team landed smack dab in the middle of Santa Barbara. LEG ONE COMPLETE! A fantastic journey so far with some absolute insanity and great time with the new GP. An awesome car, btw.
The boys have had great experiences thanks to MiniUSA, including dinner with BMW Chairman Tom Purvis, MiniUSA VP Jim McDowell, Mike Cooper, Peter Brock (Designer of the Stingray Corvette) and Mini/BMW designer Chris Bangle (Pictured). Brian looks like he’s had a few… um, 7ups.
Morning brings a launch to the SCMM Barstow Pitstop and VEGAS!!! Adios! They’re racing Andrew Cutler for PINKS!
Ok, that was a joke…. it’s for a latte at In n’ Out.

MTTS DAY 1- THE GP REVEAL
What a perfect day to hand out a slew of brand new GP’s at the Monterey Historics in Monterey, California. The skies were clear as Vice President of Mini, Jim McDowell handed new keys to everyone from Jim Skater of SCMM to Todd Pearson of White Roof Radio. Fireball Tim and his team (Andy Limon and Jennifer Tang pictured) watched as Andrew Cutler and the Minis That Be created smiles galore. Even Mike Cooper was on hand as we filmed a cool CarTV episode. And,… the food was top notch, too.
Then it was off to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for an evening of more festivities among the ocean’s greatest creatures. And, a few GP’s, too.
More coolness tomorrow!

Fireball Tim MTTS Update
OH NO!
Doug Daniels hit the mother of all pot holes and did a bit of damage to his new baby. The damage is minor and nobody his hurt. Fireball Tim calls in with Doug to let us know what happened. We should have pics later today.
