A deal to design and produce Limited Edition, Hollywood Themed and Authenticated Fireballed Minis. Yes, Fireball Tim is at it again, folks. The crazed “Hollywood Car Designer†and his team have inked with South Bay Mini to create oneof-a-kind Coopers with everything from wild race graphics to whatever you can imagine in performance. Minis on steroids! All that, along with a complete wish list from Mini’s uniquely designed brand of factory items.
In case you don’t remember FIREBALLED!, They’re the guys that launched Minis into the stratosphere with the MINI USA sponsored M600 Flamethower last year, creating the “World’s Fastest,†bulking 500+ horsepower and scorching an 11.26 ET at the IDRC Finals in Palmdale. Yes, in a Mini. They’ll be back with that one soon, but for now, the exclusive Los Angeles Area deal with General Manager/Vice President of South Bay, Peter Boesen was struck with the goal to be selling the first of the numbered vehicles by July. Students win cash making a MINI dash!

Winning in drag racing depends on producing maximum power. Power production relies on the amount of air that is compressed and expanded in the engine. The Fireball Tim Racing Team’s Race Specification Intake Manifold carefully manages the movement of great amounts of air from the turbocharger to the engine, maximizing horsepower. The team’s manifold increased horsepower produced in the race car’s engine by 25 percent.
They even won $1,000 for their efforts! Sweet!
From Hubie
All the components necessary for integrating this manifold with the factory engine and accessories has been designed and we will release this as a bolt on kit later in the year. The kit will require removal of the factory supercharger and converts the Cooper S to a “turbo” only configuration.

M600 Featured in Max Power!
Finally another cool write up of the M600! From this months Max Power magazine…
but the MINI still had to crack that quarter-mile in record time. On race day they got a mega launch, with all 500 horses let loose through the Mickey Thompson slicks. Perfect gear changes followed and the Fireballed MINI became the fastest ever, burning the quarter in 11.26 seconds. But with plans to run more boost and unleash more power, it doesn’t look like that record is going to last for long…

RCX INVADED BY MINIS!!
The Radio Controlled and Diecast Expo will be invaded by Fireball Tim and his insane Minis this coming weekend, May 6th and 7th, at the Anaheim Convention Center. The show features tons of toys, 50,000 fans and of course FT will be joined by Tune Master Hubie Fuh and several of his Fireballed! Racers. Along with Rod Builder Chip Foose and others, Fireball will hang for the Panel Discussion. He’ll be discussing the new Season Finale of MONSTER GARAGE where he designed the Signature Final All Star Build. Also his new episode of CarTV at the Long Beach Gran Prix, and his interview on CAR CRAZY with Barry Meguiar. He’ll be signing prints and the T-Shirts he designed for the RCX Show, so don’t miss it!!

FIREBALLED! AUTOCROSS SLAMS FIRST!
With gas prices at an all-time high, Fireballed! Autocross VP Andi Mast ran her 1989 V8 Corvette (with 108,000 miles on it) 10 hours round trip towing a tire trailer with tools, jack and stands stuffed behind the back seats. Destination, to race in a National SCCA Solo Event at Castle Airport in Atwater, California. She got up at 5:00 am each morning in order to walk the course before driving…average temperature 87 degrees…no shade…her total time on the race course was only 6 minutes over a two day period.
What’s the payoff you ask for all of this madness? She won both days! Whoo hoo! Snagged her first National SCCA trophy in A Stock Ladies Class at Atwater this weekend.
